Planing Consent Granted - Caledon, Findhorn

Its great to see an old another old dwelling being restored and the same time brought back into contemporary use. Planing Consent has been Granted by Moray Council for Renovation, Alterations & Extension to Caledon, Findhorn.

On the main elevation, to the village street life, this is a sympathetic piece of Conservation Architecture and will once again bring daily activity back into a property that for so long has been a holiday home. On the rear elevation, to the north, overlooking the Moray Firth, this is a bold piece of new design. Creating new open-plan and contemporary ground floor living accommodation for a family, that opens out to the private garden. While at the first floor a roof large terrace has been introduced, with light-wells to the accommodation below, providing spill-out space from the new living accommoation with views over the machar to the beach beyond.
