Coast2Coast Architects voted Best New Building in Moray 2012

Following a busy day of touring projects across Moray, Badenoch & Strathspey they IAA Awards panel voted last night at the Moray Art Centre in Findhorn to award the 2012 Best New Building in Moray to Driftwood Cottage, 157 Findhorn by Greig & Kathleen Munro of Coast2Coast Architects.

Commenting on the design and the reason the Jury of 3 made its selection for overall winner of the New Building category award Billy Reynolds, of Reynolds Architecture, complemented the designers on their modest building project, constructed on constrained site, demonstrating a skillfull attention to detail design and spatial planning that was reminiscent of the qualities and craftmanship of the interior of a ship.

Greig Munro thanked the Judges for their continued support and commented that this is a busy period for Coast2Coast Architects and this project forms one of may projects currently on site within the Conservation Village of Findhorn.
